A year in life - 2016

2016 has been a big year for me - both personally and craft related. So much has happened ...

Personally ... The biggest and most exciting thing that happened was that I became a mummy. Having a baby competely turned my life upside down - in a good way. Of course there were some difficult moments, but I am lucky to have a good man by my side who has been my rock all the way and also family that supports me.

Crafty ... I was lucky enough to be a part of two amazing design teams this year - The Greeting Farm and Crafty ribbons. I also challenged myself to step out of my comfort zone from time to time and did some different craft creations. I tried several new (to me) techniques and I met some wonderful new people. That's how lucky I was!

I am curious and excited to see what is waiting for me in the new year. I am ready for new challenges and new adventures.

I hope 2016 has been a good year for you, but I wish that 2017 is even a better one. :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! xx

Spread a lil' magic

Ho ho ho! :) I hope you've been enjoying the holiday season so far. I had a wonderful Christmas with my loved ones. Did Santa left any crafty goodies for you under the Christmas tree? I think I was a *very* good girl this year, because I received several dies that I've been wanting for a while (yay!!) and also a sewing machine. I've been wanting to learn to sew for a while and now I finally have the machine to practice. Goodie! :)

I'm faaaar from sharing anything sewn with you, but I do want to share a new card that I made. And of course I had to ise some of my new dies on it too. ;)

I decided to make a card with the adorable TGF stamp set called A lil' magic. Aren't those ponies in the set sweet? And I like that the set comes with matching dies - i used the die to cut the image out.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and pencils.

To decorate the card I used some flowers, pearls and crystals from my stash. Papers are from my stash as well.

So much from me today. But before I go let me wish you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR. May 2017 only bring good stuff to you and may it be magical!!! xx

Swinging into Christmas

Hello everybody! Just a couple of days left and THE day will be here. Are you excited? I'm really looking forward to it. This year even more, because it's my baby's first Christmas. So much fun! I was wrapping Christmas presents yesterday so now I'm pretty much done with all the preparations for the big day. Yay! :)

Here's another one of the Christmas cards in non-traditional colours I made this year.

I used the beautiful glittery paper from Bo Bunny and some other papers from my stash. I really like this colour combination. I haven't done any colouring with distress inks in a while, so I thought I would change this and therefore I grabbed those ink pads and coloured this cutie. On the bauble and on the white parts of the dress I also used diamond stickles.

Around the image I glued pearl string and then I used some die cut stars, a piece of cheesecloth, some gems and small pop pom trim to decorate the card.

Have a wonderful holiday season! Hugs! xx

Bless

Hello everybody. Do you also have the feeling that time is moving with the speed of light? I mean, we surely can't be in the middle of December already, can we?! O.o Wow! I honestly don't know where this year went. I have already mailed all of the international Christmas cards and gifts, I just have some that I need to send to my friends here. But these won't go to the mail for another week or so, since they only need one day to get to their destination. Have you mailed your cards yet?

Have you decorated the house and put up the Christmas tree yet? We did this over the weekend. It was so much fun! Aaaaand, because I was such a good girl this year (awww, I know lol) Santa has already dropped a gift for me under the tree. It's a sewing machine!!! I've been thinking about learning to sew for a while, and now I can finally practice. Well, almost. I am not allowed to touch the machine til Christmas. *sigh* So I will probably start practicing in the beginning of 2017. :)

Anyways ... back to paper crafts. Here's a Christmas card I made for my friend.

To make this card I used some scraps of paper from my stash and the super cute "bless" stamp from The Greeting Farm. Unfortunately I can't find this cutie in the store right now, but there are many other cute holiday stamps and sets that you can use for your holiday creations.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and pencils. On the wings and halo I also used diamond stickles.

We currently have a "Make it sparkle" challenge at The Greeting Farm blog and we would love for you to come play with us.

So much from me today. Have a beautiful day! xx

I amd about to show you a Christmas card I made with one of the adorable WOJ stamps.

I used papers from Kaisercraft and I decorated the card with some pearls, lace and crystals. I coloured the image with Promarkers and pencils and I added stickles on the snowflakes, snow ball and parts of snow.

Have a wonderful day! xx

Candy cane for you

Hey hey! How are you doing? Have you started decorating your house yet? I don't have any decorations up yet, but I think I might have by the next weekend. ;) I just need to find The new place for the Christmas tree. Where we had it before is now Amadeja's "playground", so I need to think of something else. My hubby suggested I put it on my craft table. Hmmmm ... it's not a bad idea and it actually makes sense, but that means that I would have much less space to craft and that I should probably tidy up my craft place and preferably keep it "mess free" during December. Hmmm ..
.
Have they turned on the Christmas lights on in your town yet? Here everything is decorated already, but they haven't turned the lights on yet. I am guessing they would turn them on in a day or two.

Today I would like to show you another of my this year's Christmas cards.

On this card I used Betty mouse with candycane stamp from WOJ.  I used papers and embellishments from my stash. I also attached a small jingle bell next to the bow. :)

I coloured the image with Promarkers and pencils. On the picture below you can see the jingle bell a little bit clearer.

So much from me today. Have a wonderful day! xx

Make it sparkle

Happy December! :D Woohoo, the most wonderful month of the year is here. Are you excited? I sure am. I love seeing all the lights and all other Christmas decorations. And the smell of oranges, cinnamon and apples all around ... Mmmm ... I love December. :)

At The Greeting Farm blog a new challenge just started today and it's perfect for this time of year - we want to see sparkle on your creations. So grab those crystals, sequins, glitter and other sparkly things and get creating.

I decided to use the cute little pony stamp sets that were released recently - Be a unicorn and A lil' magic (sentiment). I also used the Be a unicorn die set.

My sparkly things are the two crystals that I used in the upper right corner. besides crystals I also used pearl strings and doily to decorate my card. The papers came from my stash. I embossed the circle behind the images with Crafts too embossing folder.

I did the colouring with Promarkers and pencils.

Now it's your turn to make something sparkl. I can't wait to see what that will be. :)
Have a great day! xx

Happy ho ho holidays

Hey hey! Oh my goodness, it's the last day of November. Can you believe it? Holidays are just around the corner. I can't wait to start putting up my Christmas decorations - I usually do it at the beginning of December. When do you start decorating? Have you made all your Christmas cards yet? I'm pretty close. Just need a few more. And I've done most of my Christmas shopping already as well. Once for a change I seem to be on top of things. lol

Here's one of the CAS Christmas cards I made.

I really like the Ho ho holidays stamp set from The Greeting Farm. I used different stamps from the set to create this scene.

I did the colouring with Promarkers and pencils. I didn't use any desing papers and I only used some sequins to embellish the card.

So much from me today. See you again tomorrow. xx

Do you wanna build a snowman?

Hey hey! Yesterday I received the first Christmas card this year. I guess this means holidays are just around the corner, right? I have already written some of my Christmas cards, but haven't mailed any. I am planning to go to the post office later this week to mail those overseas so that they will get to my friends in time. Those within Europe will probably be sent out in the first week of December.

This is one of the Christmas cards I made this year. I've decided to use some of the images I printed/stamped a while back with full intention to colour them and use them on my cards/projects, but for some reason never have.

I love Tiddly inks images and this one is one of my favourites (at least when it comes to Christmas/winter ones). Isn't it cute? I coloured it Promarkers and pencils and I used some liquid applique on the white parts of girl's clothes.

Before I go I want to remind you that my mom has some yummy candy on her blog and you only have a couple of days left if you want to join. :)

TGF November release

It’s the 15th, and that means RELEASE DAY for all 3 of the new NOVEMBER TGF Stamp Sets with Coordinating Dies: Mini-Remix Boys, Bakery, and Mini-Remix Fall. We have been previewing these fantastic stamps over the past few days, and NOW they are available in The Greeting Farm Store. To celebrate, TGF is having a BLOG HOP, where one lucky fan will take home all 3 stamp sets!!

I used the Mini remix boys stamp set again. It was perfect for a birthday card I had to make for my cousin.

My cousin had a birthday earlier this month and as he was saving money for a new camera I decided to make a camera shaped card to match the (camera related) gift I got for him. I didn't have any camera templats or dies, so I created my own. I was actually pretty happy with how it turned out. In the center of the card I created a shaker. Fun, right?

I did the colouring with Promarkers and pencils.
Be sure to leave a comment on each designer’s blog, and then head back to The Greeting Farm Blog to let us know you completed the hop. You have until Sunday, November 20th at 12pm CST to leave your comments. TGF will announce the random winner later in the week!

TGF November release preview - Mini remix Fall

Hello everybody! We are showing you the last of the new TGF stamp and dies sets. I like all the new sets, but this one has this adorable little kitty image in it too, which I couldn't wait to ink. :)

I used one of the sentiments and the leaves that come with the set on my card as well. I created the background using the Memory box stencil and distress inks. To decorate the card I used some sequins and a piece of ribbon.

So much from me today. Have a great day! Xx

TGF November release preview - Mini remix boys

Hello my crafty friends. Today is the first preview day of The Greeting Farm November release. Today we are showcasing a Mini remix boys stamp set.

I find boys hard pretty hard to make, but this stamp set made my "job" easy. It contains several cute boy images (plus one super cute dog) and some awesome sentiments that are perfect to add to the boys' cards.

As this is a boy's card I didn't want to use (lots of) embellishments. At the end I ended up using only a piece of washi tape. :) Now, how cute is this little boy? I don't know why, but I could totally see him playing soccer. And that soccer ball image that comes with the set as well was perfect match for this little guy in my opinion. I didn't use any design paper either. Just some cardstock and the shaped piece of paper is from one of my old notepads. Who thought it would come handy after all this time. ;) Sentiment is from the stamp set as well.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and pencils.

So much from me today. be sure to stop by again tomorrow for another day of previews. Tomorrow we are showcasing something *sweet*. ;)

Have a great day! xx

Amongst the stars

Hi everybody! I'm back with my newest card that I made for the TGF blog. Again I played with the adorable Bless angel, that was released in October. Unfortunately I can't find this cutie in the store, but there are many other SSSC stamps available here.

For this card I used different papers from my stash and I used distress tool on the edges. The gold paper is iridescent, so it gives the card more festive look. To embelish the card I used pearls, crystals and doily.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and pencils. Unfortunately it's impossible to see in the picture, but I used Wink of Stella brush on angel's dress, wings and halo so it's really sparkly in person.

Have a beautiful day! xx

Christmas card in fall colours

Good morning my crafty friends! How are you doing? Did you have a nice Halloween? We didn't do anything special, we barely even decorated the apartment. My hubby wanted to carve a pumpkin, but the pumpkin he bought was reeeeeeeally hard so it was nearly impossible to carve anything into it. Next year we'll be better prepared. ;) We did visit some friends in the afternoon though and we had a lovely time.

Since it's the first of the month, this means it's time for a new challenge at the TGF blog. This month we would like to see autumn colours on your creations - along with any TGF stamp of course. I decided to make a Christmas card in fall colours (red, gold, brown and green).

I used the fun little elves from the Ho ho holidays stamp set and coloured them with Promarkers and pencils. On the white parts of the hats I used Liquid applique for the puffy look. I decorated the card with some crystals, doily and ribbon.

I hope you will come play with us this month. Have a wonderful day! xx

Thinking of you

Heya! It's weekend! And nearly time for the spookiest night of the year. Are you ready? Halloween isn't big here, but we will still carve a pumpkin or two. Should be fun. :) I don't like horror movies, so I will skip those this year, but maybe I'll make some "mummy sausages" or something like that just for fun.

Today I want to share with you a sympathy card that I made for a friend of mine.

I find sympathy cards hard to make. I want them to be elegant and don't want to use a lot of layers and embellishments on them. For this one I only used some lace, flowers and crystals. I used the "Thinking of you" sentiment from Coffee is my liquid therapy stamp set. Design paper came from my stash.

Thank you for stopping by today. Have a wonderful weekend! xx

Bless

Hello my crafty friends! I'm here again. :) I've been blog hopping a bit in the last few of days and if I haven't left a comment on your blog, hopefully I will be able to do it in the next couple of days. I've been pretty busy lately with this thing called "life", so my crafting time has been a bit limited, but I still managed to make another Christmas card.

I don't know if you've heard, but about a week ago two new stamps from The Greeting Farm's SSSC were released and I just couldn't wait to ink them up. One of those I used on my today's card.

I love this adorable angel. Such a cutie. This image is called Bless and you can find it here. I coloured the image with Promarkers and pencils. On the halo and on the wings I used some diamond stickles.

I decided to keep this card simple. I only used some blue and white cardstock and a piece of star design paper from Folia. I heat embossed the sentiment and I used embossing folder on banners and blue strip of paper at the bottom of my card. I decorated the card with some pearls.

Angel and sentiment were raised on foam pads for some extra dimension.

So much from me today. Have a wonderful day! xx

Getting ready for holiday season

Hey hey! Brrr, it's getting cold here. At some places they have already received first snow of the season. That was early!!! We still haven't gotten any in my town, but the temperatures are getting lower and lower, so I guess it's just a matter of time.

Today I'm back with another Christmas card. I'm planning to send out many Christmas cards this year, so I better stock up. If you want a card from me too (and haven't said so on my FB page), let me know and I will send you one too. :)

I've decided to colour one of the old(er) Christmas images. I really like these adorable mice - these are definitely the only mice I find adorable and am not afraid of. Lol

To make this card I used gorgeous papers from DCWV's Winter magic paper pad. To embellish the card I used some crystals, lace, pearls and flowers. The silver stars you see peeking from behind the flowers are from Crafty ribbons.

I did the colouring with distress inks and I covered poinsettia with Stickles. I love me some extra bling!! He he :D

So much from me today.

See you again soon. Hugs! xx

Spooky fun

Heya! Welcome to October! ;) Are you getting ready for Halloween? We don't really celebrate Halloween in my country, but we might still carve a pumpkin or two. Other than that we won't do anything special.

At the TGF blog we have a perfect challenge for all of you who like this holiday - Spooky fun! There are some awesome stamps at the TGF store that are perfect for Halloween. I decided to use Peek a boo stamps and matching dies.

I decided to keep the card simple. I used some green paper that I had in my stash for a while. Over it I used a creamy white paper and I used mesh stencil and watercolours to create the pattern on it. Then I just cut some more strips of paper and randomly glue them on my card. Image is coloured with pencils and I added some sequins to decorate the card.

I hope you will come play with us this month.

Sending you sparkles

Hello everybody! Phew, I can't believe September is already over. Can you? I've already started counting the days til Christmas. I know it's still nearly 3 months, but I have a feeling the time will just fly by. The other day I've already done some Christmas shopping and I've also made a list of people I am sending a Christmas card too, so I think I'm staying on top of things - for now. I still have quite a few Christmas cards to make, but those are my favourite to make, so I will be enoying the process. :) What are your favourite cards to make?

The card I am about to show you is not a Christmas one. I am participating in a card swap (I really enjoy (card) swaps) and this is the card I made for my swap partner. I hope she will like it.

I used the Mini pony party stamp set from the TGF (made exclusively for the Simon says stamp store). I used several different papers from my stash to make this card. To embellish it I used some pearls, sequins and a doily. I did the colouring with Promarkers and pencils and I used some Stickles on the sentiment, stars and unicorn's horn.

So much from me today. See you again tomorrow. :) xx

For all the coffee lovers

Hey, hey! How are you doing? Enjoying the weekend? I was going through my clothes and started brining those warmer tops and trousers to the front of the wardrobe. Fall is in full swing already, which means the temperatures are not so high anymore.

Before I go to my today's card, I want to tell you that my mom has candy on her blog so hop there to check it out if you want. There are stamps, dies, papers, embellishments ... Lots of crafty goodies to be won. :)

I found out that there was a fall blog hop going on at the Coffe loving cardsmakers blog and I wanted to participate, so I quickly made this card.

Are you a coffee "addict"? I am not a big fan of coffee, but I do enjoy a cup of cocoa or hot chocolate.

To make this card I used several scraps of paper from my stash in fall colours and some sequins to add some bling. The cups are The Greeting Farm stamp (from Perk up stamp set) and I coloured them with Promarkers and pencils. The cups also have matching dies which I used to cut them out. The sentiment is from The Greeting Farm's Hello Fall stamp set. In the background I used a Memory box stencil.

So, this is it from me for today. See you again soon. :)
Have a great day! xx

I decided to use Holiday Anya 5 stamp again. I just love her and I think she's perfect for the holiday cards.

I love purple and teal/turquoise colour combination and I decided to use it on my today's card. I had these papers in my stash for a while and I really like them. They are from Sandylion's Disney Tinkerbell paper pad.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and pencils.

To decorate the card I used some lace, pearls, gems and sequins.
